How to make a balloon flower
Hi!
It was my sisters birthday today and my mom went a little overboard with the decorations. She bought those balloons you can twist and make all kinds of stuff with. I was bored and found out a way to make balloon flowers.
Let me show you!
You need 3 balloons. Two of them should have the same color (or not).
Blow up the first one for the flower stem (or stalk??). Fold the balloon into an S. Twist it in the middle of the S. Now you have the stem with 2 leaves.
This next step you have to do twice.
Blow up the balloon, tie the ends together. Now you have 2 circles.
Now you have to attach the pink circle balloon to the yellow balloon.
Fold the pink one together with the knot in the center. Tie it to top of the yellow balloon. Twist it into an 8.
Do the same thing for the other circle you made. Make sure you attach it to the flower stem as well to the other pink one. It should form 4 leaves.
Et voilà, you just made a balloon flower!
Give it to someone special ;).
I have to say, it is really addictive. Before you know it …
… you’ll have an entire bouquet!
